dc.description.abstractLogbook, 1844-1846, Brig ZEBRA. Log kept on board the brig Zebra of Boston, Massachusetts. Samuel S. Thomas served as master until June 24, 1845, when Joseph R. Curtis became master, during a coastwise, South American, and West Indies trading voyage. Made 17 ports-of-call and spoke 4 other vessels. Contains navigation data, ship's accounts, report of the wreck of the Campwell of Jersey, and cargo information including salt, brimstone, lemons, sugar, molasses, lumber, shingles, and tobacco.
