This collection comprises accounts and bills, as well as some letters to Captain Spicer. Among the notable items are accounts of Charles H. Mallory & Co. including monthly trial balance sheets; a series of bills for provisioning the ship MARY L. SUTTON in San Francisco; accounts, of the owners of the ship MARY L. SUTTON, with Charles Mallory; an agreement, between Spicer and Norman Wales, Norwich, Conn., concerning the employment of Wales' son, Joseph Wales, on the ship SAMUEL WILLETTS; and the last will and testament of Andrew G. Dickenson, Brooklyn, New York. Printed items of note include a pamphlet of "Rates of the New Orleans Steam Tow-Boats"; a broadside, regarding Abel N. Lewis' improvement on a floating drag or anchor; and a broadside, giving wharfage rates probably in Mystic, Conn.
