Abstract
Journal kept on board the frigate U.S.S. CONDEDERACY by Joseph Hardy, who was the captain of the marines aboard the vessel. Contains navigation data, mentions a duel between one of the ships officers and a French lieutenant, also mentions mutiny of six men who went over to the English fleet. Made 7 ports-of-call and spoke 8 vessels.
